Who's The Best Pal? - Poem by Haidee Majola
One who is jealous of you
such that they wish to hurt you
But always do everything right
Never a hint of how they feel
because they don't want you hurt
by this knowledge?
Maybe you trust the one
who when out of the blue
you ask to tell you if bad thoughts
about you they ever have had
Then they tell you
of the extent of jealousy
as cited above they have?
Which one to trust and keep
as a close friend
assuming you could decipher
feelings and thoughts in the first case?
