Who Said... - Poem by van wood

Who said:  'Give me your life, as it now is; sinful and needy and out of control.

In exchange, I will give you a new heart, and a new life eternal.  I will give you a conscience, free from the guilt of sin and the fear of the future and its unknowns.  You will be forgiven and washed clean and made holy before the Eternal God of Heaven.'

Who said: 'Come unto me and believe.  In exchange for your fear and weakness I will give you a new heart and hope everlasting.'

Who said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes unto the Father except by me.

And who is it that proved these sayings to be true above all challenge by rising from the dead?

Only our living Lord Jesus Christ; the Son of God Himself.

Ask yourself this…How can I refuse such an offer. It cannot be purchased with money or good deeds. It's free to all who believe and who come to Him in humble repentance and faith.

Like to do it your own way? How's that working for you?
