'Who We Really Are' - Poem by Archan Mehta

We are not two legs
nor two hands
We are not skin and bones
and tooth and nail
We are not our
internal organs
we are not our hair
We are not jealousy
and insecurity
We are not our banalities
and trivialities
nor our fashion and foibles
We are not trends
nor are we employed or jobless
we are not our enemies or friends
or a whip to be cracked at dawn
Ether is who we really are:
mystic air.a
