Why Don'T They Listen Poem by Rhonda Pilcher

Why Don'T They Listen

Why don't they listen when you say
No I can't not this day?

Why don't they listen when you say
I don't have the money today?

Why don't they listen when you say
I've been ill but I'll pay soon as I can?

Why don't they listen when you say
I'm sorry son no money today?

Why don't they listen when you say
I need help with bills and food today?

Why don't they listen when you say,
I sold my radio to pay you some but
I bought noodles to live on for a few days.

Why don't they listen when you say,
It's not that I don't want to pay,
I just don't have the money these days?

They don't listen because they're to busy
judging you for no pay. They think of things
bad that you must be not realizing how
dreadfully wrong possibly. In the end
it doesn't matter what your problem,
They don't listen, They just demand! !
