As my life goes by on this shallow end
I wonder what road I never have been
I'm so tired of being the one that cares
and always being the one that's there
The hurt and pain and sorrow I feel
seems to come with every deal
I never had that childhood life, so how can I be that perfect wife
I never had the chance to live, all I did was give, give, give
My life is like a prison wall, I believe it's time to let it fall
My mind grows colder as my body gets older and my heart is weak, so
give me back the soul and life I shall seek
Anger, Hatred that I see turns me to the person I'll be
The strength and wisdom I have learned, should give me the path I have earned
So I'll trade it all for one simple thing, That's for:
A better life you could bring.
