Rating: 4.0
Why flames of violence has erupted all around
Who has poisoned the minds of these budding hearts
Is it anguish of some witnessed inhuman tragedy
or hatred of some society’s misconduct

This is a very important question: Why? Why the violence? I guess we need a few more Mahathma Ghandi-like or Martin Luther King JR-like people. In the mean time each of us can start in our small circle. The more people make small differences through random kindnesses in their small circleof influence, the faster the world will be changed. I am a believer in world peace and I pray for it. Violence is sooo stupid. A wisdom revolution is on its way. A kindness revolution is on its way. Let us all enjoy being part of these revolutions. A very good poem, Santosh. Really makes people think.

Such a great write on today's violence and breakdown of society. You speak so much of truth and can or will God reverse the way we drift apart to become so destructive. Great write 10+++ Kevin

SANTOSH - We are living in an increasingly violent age and some Young People are being taught that if they become 'suicide bombers' (e'g. the Twin Towers NY USA) they will attain PARADISE. This is a lie of the Devil. GOD created us in His image - to live HOLY & GODLY lives. SATAN the arch enemy of GOD & HUMANITY has poisoned peoples minds and created havoc in God's World. We need to be vigilant and fight against terrorism and warmonger and pray for and promote PEACE. Thanks for sharing - Your Friend - JOHN : o)

A painful life is starting from the system that failed humanity and compassion. The poet is telling the truth with solid sentences in very stanzas. Well done.

God perhaps likes much to play with variety. So, according to your demonstration, wiping out the human, He will create some other species. So, no problem, don't get worry. End of Kaliyug...so you can see and wait for the last ruin. Thank you.

All encompassing poem touching on all the various angles of disruptive forces and its impact on our life. Various sporadic earth quakes and tusnamis are warnings to set our house in order. If it goes unheeded, what is in store for the humanity as whole is nothing but............perish.

Fascinating....your concluding stanza reminds me of God's Word, that it repented the Lord that He had made man....'...And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them.' Consequently He destroyed the entire earth with a flood. Since then, He has promised to destroy it with fire....that is coming up very soon, so far as I presently understand. Also in that time before the flood, He says, 'The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.' That was the time of Noah's flood. The Lord since has promised that the world would become like as in the days of Noah, before He destroys it with fire, which your poem here seems to lament. Looks like the end is approaching...swiftly.
