Will - Poem by JeanPierre Barakat

I am but a violent
Drop of water still
Drowning in silent,
Motionless, waves of will.

I pledge my existence
To the highest ground,
For my sole insistence
Is for the lost and found.

I am restless, unappeased,
Yet content with my state:
Each longing is relieved
As Love becomes my fate.

And the river still flows
Carrying my droplet’s will
To the One who knows.

I’m waiting for answers, still.
