With Vistas Now Views

With vistas now views
And awe's drama
Moved on from loud shows
To the homely
Come we, half-shadowed
If not half-sad
To relate of things
But charmingly.

Rustic fence-sat, by
Tumbledown barn.
And parts, rusted out
On Autumn's trail.
Or genteel wickered
As countrified.
On porch, pumpkin-staired.
Wall-hung with flail.
