Without... - Poem by Cally A. Nixon

Holidays will come and go,
Without any get togethers,
Without eggs and candy on Easter,
Without presents and cheer on Christmas,
Without hearts and cards on Valentines Day,
Without fireworks and laughs on the 4th of July,
Without jokes and pranks on April Fools,
Without a cake and candles on Birthdays,
Without pinches and grins on Saint Patricks Day,
Without celebration and drinks on New Years,
Without turkey and fun on Thanksgiving,
Without costumes and tricks on Halloween,
Without gifts and hugs on Mother's Day,
And without you every day of the year.
We miss you and your love always.
