Without - Poem by Andrew Joseph Smith

Light gleams on the evening window,
Like morning light in the tears,
Of a first, true love
Awaking from blue eyed slumber
To empty white

So it is, for those who do not know
Of birth impossible,
Of life altruistic
Of death vicarious
And of renaissance

That stills each tear
That fills with hope
That speaks of existence Eternal
