Wondering Poem by Khalilah Bain Mackey

'Wondering', thoughts floationg around, afraid of what could be, 'scared', of what I see. 'Uncertainty', how could this be, confusion and misery, unsure of what is to come, 'unbelieving not able to trust anyone. 'Wondering', thinking things that can never be; is this an impossibility?

Maybe, it's just me, sinking in myself, with shallow thoughts of what could never be, is it really me? Perhaps 'I'm' just being free, 'wondering', freely thinking in my mind, 'no' barriers, 'no' boundries, thinking thoughts where thoughts can't be found; but still I seek, still I wonder, still my thoughts float around, 'wondering, wondering, wondering', is it to late, or can I be found.
