A slow turn of her head away from me,
Her eyes gazing at nothing in particular.
She turns back and with a brave face says,
'This may be something really bad.'

ALS is a horrible disease, but then, any disease that takes away a loved one could be called horrible. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your poem is extremely well-written and a wonderful tribute.

Amazing. This is high class stuff. You are a master poet. You said everything in those few words; came straight from the heart. I love this. Dear Deborah! Blessings.10

Tan, I am truly humbled by your appreciation. This was the first poem I wrote about our journey thru the ALS jungle. The one that inspired me to keep writing, for our sake, ultimately for my sake, for my grieving process. I have nothing but great memories about my Dear Deborah. Thanks again. –BG
