World A Deception Poem by Colonel Muhamad Khalid Khan

World A Deception

Rating: 5.0

In cruel clutches of the world you left me alone
Being no longer required it was good to be thrown
In a dirty dustbin where no body should own
How love can nurture in hearts made of stone

With hawks eyes and with wolves ugly jaws
Lip service for humanity with discarded clause
Feelings are crushed under pressure of heavy laws
Life is a young dove being taken in vulture claws

Based on tricks social animals are just animals
While when sent were made like pure angels
Most of the spices are just like water bubbles
Being cheap commodity some are found in brothels

World is false and sham and always ready to deceive
It is up to us how we understand it and just to perceive
Whatever we extend that we are bound to receive
Now it is up to you what ever you take and conceive

What a magnificent poem! My favorite lines, 'Feelings are crushed under pressure of heavy laws Life is a young dove being taken in vulture claws'....A thoughtful write...5 stars.
