Worthless Chase - Poem by Matthew Adam Helbig

Look me in the eyes when calling me heartless
I was holding you tight when your future looked sightless
Treating you like a queen that i thought you deserved
Standing tall next to you when your court papers were served
Never believeing the rumors i heard
Thinking everyone is wrong and i was right
Even denying my own best friend advice
Denying our arguments or endless fights
I've done everything a man could do
Yet you scrape me to the side like a piece of crap on your shoe
I never thought i be with someone as worthless as you
Knife to the heart full of hate
Never placed me in first place
Thinking i found you because of fate
But then you used me for God's sake
Now i'm done push you away
I'm done with this worthless chase
Go ahead look me in the face
Your just walking talking waste
I'm going on with my life
I'm done with this childish fight
