Writing Wrongs - Poem by Lindz Williamson

Writing Wrongs
I'm not sure what I'm doing any more
Waiting I thought, would be easier than it has been
harder than actually seeing or being with you
which had always been the challenge for me
the story of us
the one I'd made up is fading
possibly because I've run out of ideas
but most likely because I've forgotten the
exact shape of your face, the tone and waver of you voice
these things were once clear
or maybe I'd had a better impression of the way I thought you were
the only thing that's now clear is I've been thinking too much
and doing too little about righting all that is not wrong and doing too much
writing about what's not there at all.

A fine write Lindz. The sentiment of the last lines is excellent and they work well. (Report) Reply
