You - Poem by Adryan Barnathan

Slumber takes me alone
and even in this twilight state
I dream of your embrace
''my groans''
slowly waken me
to your smile, like
dawn break after darkness
arising memory
of your scent
so safe and sweet
''You'' take me to a place
where all is quiet.

It's a wonderful feeling to be (quite literally) living out your dreams. Beautifully written, Adrienne!
