You - Poem by Kat Mercado

You are one of a kind
You make my heart skip a beat
you make my 'lil ole' knees weak
We're so different apart but so right together
And I still Love you

Ir seems as though you've been through it all
From sleeping in your truck days at a time
From a moms that tries to care but doesn't have clue what's goin on
To a dads that wants to pull you down
You said you would survive and you did

We've been up
we've been down
We've been together and we've been s e p e r a t e
And I still Love you

I've seen you when you thought you had no one
When you should've already know you had me
A best friend, girlfriend, and confidont
I've seen you put on a smile
When I know you really want to frown
And I still Love you

You've helped me when I needed it the most
You've given me a place to stay
A shoulder to cry on
A mouth to kiss, and a body that's PERFECT to hug
and keep me warm
Of course I still Love you

You've given me words of wisdom I can never forget
You've got the simplest touch that takes my breath away
The kiss that lets me know all's good
even when its not
And I Love you for that

I've seen you mad crazy
And wired deep
I've seen you exude confidence
Even when I know there's times you're insecure
I've seen you with the cockiness of a bull
When I know deep down you're really shy
And I still Love you

Sometimes you'll say the most random things
I try to figure out but I never can
But you got me laughing and that's all that matters
Maybe that's why it's so hard to stay mad at you!
And I still Love you

The way you walk, talk, laugh, and love
The way you respect me, carry me, love me, and touch me
Things may not always be perfect
And YES baby we will go through harsh times
But in the end I hope we'll come out strong
So what else would you expect me to say babes...
I Love YOU!
And thank you for loving me too!
