You - Poem by Chris Rodriguez
Your scent is like the flowers,
so sweet but yet bitter.
Your eyes are like fire,
filled with a glamorous glitter.
Your soul like the earth,
peaceful since the day of your birth.
You are beautiful like the night,
your spirit is elevated like a string on a kite.
Your skin is smooth like the surface of still waters,
your hands are worn like those of a potter.
I hear you in the winds,
so obvious and embracing,
but because we cant be together,
Its a tragedy we are facing.
