You Act Like Nothing Ever Happened - Poem by Heathermarie Desensi
Remember that summer night,
when we once went to that party?
It was like we were meant to be.
But you had a girlfriend,
you had her for about a year,
pretty much only the summer.
I was night and you and I,
spent alot of time together.
It was like 11 are so,
and our hands were intertwined.
Did you not feel that spark that I did?
And I knew that you knew that I liked you,
I told you myself.
But when we went to school,
You act like nothing happened,
nothing, nothing, nothing at all.
I know we got more closer,
but then it all just fell.
Then you broke up with her,
to me it was the best,
but that day after the dance.
It all was just a regret.
Then we stop talking,
didnt say a word.
And now you still ignore me,
LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED!
