You Are Beautiful - Poem by Michael P. McParland
My dear love you truly are beautiful,
even if you don't believe it,
to me you glow and project like and Angel.
My legs shake and I'm struck dumb
whenever I hear your voice
and when you enter a room.
You are so beautiful you don't even know,
just how much you make my heart beat
and stomach twist and turn with passion that yearns.
I just want to reach out and grab you,
hold you and kiss you but not just because
you're beautiful but because I love you.
I love you so much and that's such a large part,
but I know true beauty when I see it and
you are everything that exemplifies it.
You're my perfect picture of a beautiful person,
with a beautiful heart and soul that matches
and gives me fabulous fits.
You truly are beautiful my sweet Angel dove,
no other woman will ever match who you are.
You are the woman I treasure you are my best friend,
I'll love you through eternity there
truly is no end.
