You Are Important Poem by Karma Wangchuk

You Are Important

Sometimes when you are left back.
When everyone tries to hold you down,
And when they curse your very existence
Just smile from your heart.
And know that you are important,
For someone somewhere whose waiting.

Sometimes when you are being ignored.
When you are always pushed down,
And are constantly reminded of being useless
Just stare up at the sky.
And know that you are important,
For someone somewhere whose waiting.

Sometimes when the world is against you.
When everyone compares you with others,
And they judge you for who you are.
Just close your eyes.
And know that you are important,
For someone somewhere whose waiting.

Sometimes when you are being hated.
When you are being cared-less,
And they torture you emotionally.
Just take a deep breath.
And know that you are important,
For someone somewhere whose waiting.

Sometimes when you doubt your existence.
When your heart is filled with emotions,
With pain, hatred and heartbreaks.
When you want to curse your helplessness,
And quit living this life of yours.
Just know that you are important.
