You Are My Orchestra - Poem by Allan Farran
You need somebody to touch,
to hold their hands around your heart-beat.
You need somebody to feel,
with the imagination to think it.
Like water into wine
Like paper into silk.
I feel like Jesus Christ.
You need somebody light,
carefree and UN-intrusive.
You need somebody protective,
like being wrapped in cotton wool.
Like a dream you taste,
Like a tune you sing.
Before leaving me with an echo
of an orchestra.
