You Hurt Me - Poem by Demeisha Burroughs

Blood in my eyes, tears rollin down my face
You hurt me when you turned and walked away
Now you're beggin and pleading because you want me back
But truely I'm sorry I can't do that
Forgetting that good things don't last forever
Thinking you'd leave me never
Through all the hurt and the pain you put me through
Always thinking there would be a me and you
You'd always say that I was your's and you were mine
Thinking you would be mine until the end of time
You'd always say you knew what we had was real
But you were too scared to really show me how you feel
Now you're begging and pleading because you want me back
But truely I'm sorry I can't do that
Because you hurt me
