You'Re Fake. - Poem by Simi Ruth
you need those sadistic lies to get you through the night,
you still can't see whether these lines are black or white,
the emptiness dripping at the bottom of your alibi,
seems to fill a spot and put the good in goodbye.
empathy is the sweetest taste of pity,
given to the rich, the poor, the ugly, the pretty.
the lonely thoughts trapped in your mind,
pushes the tape in and presses rewind.
the past was plastered with concrete,
but your skepticism comes to no defeat,
you'll feed off of others acceptance forever,
so you will have few chances to fill your plate if ever.
