Bella Ensil

You Said - Poem by Bella Ensil

im sorry first of all
for ever bringing this upon you
and yes a downfall takes only one
but honey, a disaster takes two.

i thought you were serious
when youd choose me everytime.
you broke my heart with one kiss,
but i know that the fault is mine.

dont tell me that your staying
because i know that look in your eyes
you think you know what your want
we both know its all just lies

dont give me that smile
the one i cant resist
we both know you have to go
but baby just know i hate this.

you said we would show the world
that we would make it through
you said they all were just jealous
envious of me and you

dont tell me that your staying
because i know that look in your eyes
you think you know what your want
we both know its all just lies

these lies have kept me going
in a way you wouldnt understand
i built myself up on these promises you made
and now i have no way to stand

knocked over by the blow of your words
no, more like the actions youve made
i know you didnt intend on this happening
but your love's just seemed to have fade

i wish this wasnt happening
i wish it didnt have to be like this
but you chose her in the end
and im not someone your going to miss.
