You tell me
because i don't know
why i feel this way
why i waste so much time
feeling lost and beaten
You tell me
why i'm on fire
like dry old paper
why it came slowly at first
like I was drowning in my life
You tell me
why we take what is not ours
then cannot give it back
why we end up like strangers
groping in the dark
You tell me
