Youth mentality is modern
Quick witted and fickle
Live, party and enjoy
And earn along good sickle

What is education for them?
And excuse to meet new mates
A visa for job in other states
A reason to show they are literates
An element which each of them hates

What is job for them?
An excuse to remain busy
A passport to travel easy
A reason to show life’s fizzy
An element which makes them messy

What is love for them?
An excuse to have a company
A ticket transferable to many
A reason to say someone “Honey”
An element which makes them sunny

What is life for them?
An excuse to love someone
A license to get job somewhere
A reason to study somehow
An element to curse something

These youths are thoughtless
They can’t think their future
Destroyed they will be; if
Don’t themselves nurture
