Your Strength (Thank You) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Thank you sweet love for all the strength you provide,
after a short rest I can finally do all the things I need.
With all the warmth and love that you send I feel
like a worthwhile person who can do what he needs
and so very much more.
You make me feel so very handsome and strong and I
thank you my Angel for all the wonderful things that you do.
Thank you so much for all the love that you have and you give.
When I am done with my chores I'll write you the
loveliest poem you could hope for because you deserve it
and as always I'll give you my best because I wish to
honor you with every word that I write and deed I perform.
Your strength has provided me with so much and I thank you again
for your abundant and endless love.
You mean so much to me and I only hope I can show it
over the future years I know we'll spend together,
I love you sweet Kira that the universe can barely contain it.
Please take my hand and enter eternity as wife and husband.
