On The Verge Of Tears

Dear Lord help me
It seems there is nothing right here
Not in this picture
Because once again I see myself
Sitting alone on the verge of tears
I'm clueless to what it is that I have done wrong
But there is always this negative effect
I leave on everyone
Am I just some kind of other human
That will never fit in
Do I get too offended by everything
Lord tell me what bothers everyone about me
Is it my style or my personality
I ask and I ask and I ask and I ASK
But this question comes back like a messenger bird
That always returns empty
I really don't...

The beggar boy had found his way,
And jumped aboard the 'happy' train.
He caught a patch of golden rain,
And sprinkle it over everything.
The path he walked was golden for days.
