Just lay there with wet eyes on the floor

Im god damn heartbreaker
Im sposed to lie?
I leave trail of boys left for dead
Im sposed to cry?

Who are we to change the world?
To decide what lives and dies?
I see nothing but pain and terror in this land
Endless wars killing everything
...

Im scared of living
of moving on
I dont want to close my eyes and forget
everytime i try im just taking another hit
...

I fly among my ship's quarters
yelling aloud my orders
my crew they work hard aboard ship
fearing the lash of their captain's whip
...

You know when I was your age I kept thinking
that falling in love would be everything
Looking back now I really believe
that I was stupid, dumb and naive
...

In the distant she shines
Her green eyes sparkle.
He bounds to her side
like a dog to his master.

Its strange
how in an instant anything could change
like the writing on a new page
like the destination of a different place
