The looping wind becomes wild, and howls like a hungry wolf.
The trees that shone in the sun become dark and eerie in the dim moonlit night.
The stray cats and foxes roam the desolate streets,
And the shadows come out to play.

You can be anything you want to be.

You phoned me one day in the bright burning sunshine and sounded like you were about to cry.
I tried my hardest to comfort you and calm you down, and then I just had to ask you what was wrong?
Your tears and words were making me nervous, like something very bad could have happened,
And I had to calm you down once more.

There is a light in your eyes.
I saw it the moment I met you.
And it’s been burning bright for a while.
I see this light and think of hope,

He is the one everyone fears.
He is the one who comes any time.
He gives no warning and shows no mercy.
Because he is death.

There is blood on my hands, and I don’t care.
I don’t care about any of the people I have killed.
I don’t even know their names.
I remember how I killed them all though.
