Friends dance with liveliness
And warm you in their hold

Ever shall it be
The pines moan in sorrow
Friends speak lightly

My Eyes

These brown eyes of mine
Are dancing when I smile
You would never guess

Into my heart’s deepest feeling
I want to help others
But it is I who need the healing
As the people round me speak
