Biography of Rachel Simon
Rachel Simon is currently a third year student at California Western School of Law, concentrating in International Law. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University in 2002. During the final semester of her undergraduate studies, Ms. Simon had the unique opportunity to work on Capitol Hill for Congressman Pete Stark (D-CA-13) .
Ms. Simon has received numerous academic awards. She received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship from California Western School of Law for outstanding academic achievement. Additionally, Ms. Simon was awarded the Lloyd Ellis Griffin scholarship in 2007. Ms. Simon also had her senior thesis published in the State University of New York's Public Policy Journal in 2002.
Ms. Simon has studied abroad in Madrid, (Spain) and London, (U.K.) . Prior to the commencement of her law studies, Ms. Simon worked as a Project Coordinator for the field department of the Direct Impact Companies, a public relations firm in Alexandria, VA. She is currently working as a Research Assistant for the Professor John Noyes and a clerk for the Law Offices of Steigerwalt & Associates.
