But, a family I had to raise
I had a child to coach and also teach
And I had lessons and laws to preach.

Because they are a person's memoirs,
They become the allegories
To many fabulous stories.

Even after counting a multitude of sheep,
When your eyes are heavy and so very tired
And rest is truly needed and desired.

For my child I would take a hundred shots
And for him I would take a hundred knots,
For him I would walk over broken glass
And for him I wear a mask.

Karma doesn't sleep
It waits,
It doesn't only reap
But, it also creates.

It takes pure guts to climb inside the boxing ring
Where your skill alone is all that you bring,
There is no teammates ever on your left or right
You are there all by yourself ready to fight.

Like an accountant looking over the books
Sometimes searching to find some discretion or crooks,
But, I'm the exe taping my feet as I think
Then unto my own destiny, I give it a nod and a wink.

Lord, when will I find my soulmate
I'm impatient and I just can't wait,
I have looked and looked for many countless years
And all that I found was betrayal and tears.

I want to fall in love like my father and mother
And also like my sisters and my bother,
Love and then marriage was their destined way
Then I think to myself, "maybe someday".

And I felt rage,
I read a few more lines
Then I saw signs.
