She walks slowly with gentle motion, A little pre-occupied, having full notion, Of the small world that revolves around her, Of which she is the gracious mother.
As I Lay--
As I Lay …….. I lay reclining on my fine ornate bed,
A New Start
The tiny droplets were welcomed by everyone, Having come after the long reign of the sun, A period of exhausting heat, dust and sweat, How lovely it was to feel the drops wet!
The 'Off' Button
Leaning against the window bar, Looking at the landscape far, Eyes that looked but did not see, The clouds, the trees or the blue sea.
The Universal Goal
The dark clouds glided menacingly across the sky, The light ones accompanying them floated merrily by, The fleecy babies struggled to keep pace, And reveal the evanescent sun's glowing grace.
The Walking Dead
I see a large number of walking dead, Neither down below nor high above. I see them on earth with heads held high, Though, long ago, they emitted a last sigh.
Camouflaged in the lush green grass, Confidently gripping the rifle in his hand, He spied the widely notorious crocodile, That seemed to lie peacefully in the sand.
Stealthily I Put My Foot--
Stealthily I put my foot on the last rung, I had nearly reached the top, Close to the roof I had always desired to climb.
Squi, the flamboyant squirrel, Was proud of his tail, Soft and cushy, Long and bushy,
The Year 2113
Year 2113, Blazed the bill-board. In the city named Earth Moved about young people.
The Late Awakening
I woke up Very late in the day, Having lived in a haze, All the way.
My Head Bent Low And My Eyes Filled With...
My head bent low and my eyes filled with tears, Drops of self-pity, not pearls of compassion. Had I not procrastinated but acted in time, I could have saved an isolated human life,
Squi, the flamboyant squirrel,
Was proud of his tail,
Soft and cushy,
Long and bushy,
Quick and swishy,
How he loved his wonderful tail!
It helped him climb trees,
Outwit terrible enemies,
