Your words are amazing and your vocabulary is ever going. I love the passion in your words and I feel the emotion behind it. I will continue to read, learn from, and support your love of poetry.

Eu reconheço um certo som doce, macio, redondo que sempre permeia os seus poemas. Como uma música romântica italiana cantada e nítida. Um certo amargor sometimes, well subtil. Sorry but i don't get put it in english i simple don't know how translate that! ! ! Beautiful Poet! ! !

Best Poem of Rick Elpers

While She Slept

Coyotes yelping in the distance
Crickets chorusing in the yard
Silent is the air, stilled by
The warm summer evening
Listening to this out of the
 Open window
At rest hoping to sleep
And dream of our conversation
To envelope us completely
Like smoke rising from ashes
Of the past where all that was
Burned up is useless
Leaving only the virtue of love
To whisp around circling our bodies
Drawing closer mingling flesh
With emotion seen expressing
Both realities the ethereal and
The physical
Only to be awakened by the cat
Startling me to...

Goodbye No.2

If I die tonight
Would it really matter
For perhaps a time
A week maybe three
Then the future will become
The past
Only a memory will exist
Nothing eventually
Takes over the dust of a wasted life
Remembering no one
Passing by eternity
Without a trace
