Risham Parmar Poems

Behind the clouds, beyond what I can see,
Lies a world, no one thought there'll be.
I look up at a star, I wish I could see more,
There might be a land where Monkeys will roar

Winning is your responsibility. Something you're supposed to do,
Like a candle flame is supposed to burn blue
And this expectation just sticks to you,
Pushes you to the edge, don't know what to do.

Behind the clouds, beyond what I can see,
Lies a world, no one thought there'll be.
I look up at a star, I wish I could see more,
There might be a land where Monkeys will roar
And elephants will neigh and lions will crow
It is all so absurd, my brain is going sore!
I think of a time before time began.
All the secrets of the universe I want to scan.
There was a bang, smaller than an atom
Its size now is impossible to fathom!
It grew and grew, Oh! So fast!
making everything, to the present to the past.
There were all the gasses, glowing green and pink
It must've been so grand! I sit and think.
There to the right must've been a cluster of nebulae,
where all the elements were going astray.
Round and round they must've spun
Faster than even the bullet from a gun.
Out of it came the sun and the moon
The Earth too came about soon.
So when you are looking for something to marvel,
Just look at a star, and in time you will travel.
