Robert Aaron Perry
Sounds allude my grasp, as I'm the only one listening.
Dialogues being whispered in my ear.
though I'm the only one here.
Upright I sit, frighted, by a pair of eyes glistening.
Like a child fearing to slumber, awakened from that dream of horror.
Awake, afraid of the man who sits and glares.
Struggling to keep my eyes open, warding off what ever he dares.
Yet like a fool, I return for more.
