like pretty and interesting, jolly and swell.
We spend our lives waiting. For the day that the reaper removes us from this world.
The mind, a constant learning machine that gives us skills,
Always learning, always working until its day of expiry and so too does it die.
and so too is a good nights kiss.
you count my words one, two, three
and realise that this poem is for thee.
Glinting happily right back onto me.
The brilliant turqouise blue of her eyes,
As clear and as sharp as the mid morning skies.
The belief that we love each other in the balance. Yet perhaps the fine line shifting between love and lust is now but one.
Time drifts on and so too does the knowledge that these lies will keep us together.
Intriguing things are those which come from deep within us,
An understanding of complexity to which no one fathoms.
Emotions, dwell behind all and remain foremost important in life,
As without these precious, invisible diamonds.
We would be blank. Dead faced to the world.
