Robert Murray Smith- a prolific writer and a poet of wide experience writes with ease and flow. His style is simple though he dwells at length on mind and its complex workings. He loves Nature and exults in the glory of Nature which is a deep inspiration for his poetry! I wish him many more creative years ahead! !

Robert is to me, a genuine poet, he is out there slam dunking poem after poem, and the zeal he has is to be admired for he has so many different pens, each with a voice of its own.

Ode To The Earth

allowed your tears to pool as seas,
and lakes

rivers flooded, flowed streaming
anguished tears

allowing primitive life forms to

you accommodated life in all forms
to grow, and prosper

a home for the whole of ...

Poverty finds its way in mean lots
face not normal, faces a lot.

Not so fine mind, stricken, from new
body not fine, is lot by lot, a plot.

A mean family, affects lot by lot, forever
rations rationed, ends a passion mid-lot.
