Life's Black Curtains
Lost and alone, thoughts at a distance, heart heavy
with sorrow.
Touched deeply by your life, not wanting to let go,
yet knowing I must.
In my heart forever, indelibly printed on my soul,
etched in memory's mind.
Touched frequently by the tears of your loss, trying
to hold them as tiny reminders of what we used to have.
They disappear, never become tangible so I may keep them
like a treasure of your love.
With love, I will remember you all my life, for you are
a part and parcel of what we had.
Sharing now that you are no longer ...
Melody Of Love
Lagging, listening to a quiet melody being sung by a young man,
his voice gently soothing, inspiring writing as rhythms pick
and choose notes and tones to express absolutely in poems.
Expressions of nature flowing vibrantly into an interior at-
mosphere, tenderly absorbing many feelings of love and sorrow
through a melody of love won and lost through death.
I thought your poem about the 43rd President was meaningful and had a beautiful message of hope.
really, something hide between your words in every poetry...i like it...because something is a part of everything, so everything is connected to everything else...good...
