The Three Pillars

Three pillars have I witnessed,
Amidst precarious predicaments;
Bending to each other,
In modest, flexible benevolence;
Joining hands to fortify,
Amidst crises and stress.
Spreading canopies to shelter,
In dilemma and distress.

Tough - yet so gentle,
Powerful - yet so humble.
Each - a man of the world,
And yet a child at heart.
Three pillars have I admired,
And revered –time and time again;
As a single Kohinoor’s aura -
Chiselled into three rays.

As three Moses -
Zipping apart the tumultuous Red Sea.
As three Noahs ...
