vibrant flash of her manicured nails

Oohs and ahs of farewell at school

I quiver, the day is here an no time is left.
when heavens will fall, when life is bereft
in despair I craze, must I part with my bliss?
wounded my heart; aches for the slaking kiss

My first love I’v forever lost!
I sit hushed, endure the cost.

Gone she! to the merry ways

Flashing blinkers coax a fight

Never a space may foster gloom
Nor a shred of fear or doom

If its doors stay firmly shut

We hold in our palms
Many solutions to a quest
Also in our hearts
so close to our heaving breast

A thousand wishes so, each leaves one, devoid of breath.
Many desires now rest, fulfilled; so many yet remain unmet.
