The cat has your tongue,
And it has mine

Is it just me?
Or have we ran out things to talk about?
I'd rather die a thousand times
Than rip your heart out

Was I born too soon?
Or just born too late?
Does the point in history matter?
Either way, I have no choice but to participate

I shudder to descend in the corners of my mind,
To wonder if it still has a meaning
Memory...
...

Take a step outside out of the line
Your life may be broken
But I won't let it effect mine
...

Nostalgia showed up in my doorway again
She had so many stories to tell
Ones that touched my heart
And ones that gave me hell
...

Wipe the dust off my smile,
And stay a little while
I'm in the mood to have some fun,
The night has only just begun
...

His memory of me lies
In the chink of his boot,
A page in his book,
As he explores a world strange and new
