Biography of Samkelo Dlamini
Born and brought up by a single parent, Mrs S.B Dlamini at IXOPO RURAL, KZN., South Africa.
Being less privileged, Got exposed to POETRY at the age of 17.
I was very much inspired and fascinated when i read a poem called " The City Of Johannesburg" , by Mongane Serote and other poets like Gcina Mhlophe and so forth.
Since then, I never stopped having interest in POETRY.
I do not write specified genre, But any kind of a poem i feel i want to write during that time.
To me poetry involves expressing how you feel.
Samkelo Dlamini Poems
In A Dark World
You may call it a life, Because there are humans, Who have occupied, The space.
Something inside, So strong, On the outside, Be recognised.
People's expectations, Their necessities, Their attitudes, And their perspectives,
The World In My Dream
Everything goes, The easy way. Never goes the hard way Everything is faster.
Never Good Enough
I try to do things, Like everybody else out there but what i do, Is never good enough.
The Heart Of The Art
The heart of this art, This wonderful art Displays through daylight and night For the world to see.
Made In Heaven
I am a product of the heavens Born with ambitions, A heart of kindness, A pure soul.
I think this is it, That i'm looking for, What i have been longing for, And waiting for.
It May Be Too Late!
Now there's still time, It's so crucial to manage time, Time is so precious. It is so special,
Never admired, Never infused, Like this before, Not at all.
As The Wheel Turned
I was the one, Kind of paralysed, And everyone pitied, Also disheartened.
The Duty Of Life
It's what i am longing for, What i am here for' Life may be tough, And kind of rough,
The Untold Truth
Living naively, And nicely. With arms folded, And something unfounded.
Deep within, Well if you dig in. You can actually fight for, Or die for.
On the outside,
Of which this,
Shall be perceived,
By someone affectionate,
From my perspective,
This is sensitive,
It may be questioned,
By those inquisitive.
