Biography

I am a Russian Armenian immigrant born in Armenia on May 6th,1993. I immigrated to the U.S. in 2001 at the age of 8, taking up residence in a small apartment in North Hollywood, California with my parents and sister. I found it difficult to adjust to life here and felt that it was important to assimilate as quickly as possible. I quickly learned how to speak English, (mostly through interaction, i didn't take up extra carricular reading until my senior year in high school) adding it to my existing knowledge of Armenian and Russian. I currently live in Los Angeles, California, and attend Cal State Northridge.

I mostly write in free verse, with some loose rhyme and alliteration thrown in there. I do however, have a few sonnets and such, and feel that it is important for a true poet to be able to write structured poetry, in order to be called so. feel free to have a look and criticize all you want.

I only comment on poems i genuinely enjoy. feel free to comment on my stuff, but don't expect any comments in return.
