Castle Made Of Sand

Love can be a mighty force,
Or a castle made of sand.
It can bring us to our knees,
Or give us the strength to stand.

It will grant you happiness
When you treat it with respect.
But love can lose it's luster
When it's care falls to neglect.

It is not invincible,
There is much it can't withstand.
Love can be a mighty force,
Or a castle made of sand.

Loved & Lost

‘Tis true, love is a fickle thing.
It comes and goes upon the wing.

It soars to heights beyond the stars,
Then leaves thy soul with empty scars.

But if it’s truly in thy heart,
It shall remain, it can’t depart.
