Lucidity of poetic expression is the hallmark of Savita Tyagi’s poetry. Wish this great poetess to shine in all fairness in her future literary endeavors. May god bring peace and happiness to her and her family!

As a late comer to poem hunter, your comments and your recent poems drew my attention. I am fascinated by your deep insights, and wish to draw your attention to Rabindranath Tagore in this connection. I have been a follower of Tagore’s poetic rhythms and his songs since I was seven. So, Tagore gradually became my idol of my adult life. Please read some of the poems in PH that I recently translated to get my thoughts across, though impossible to bring the same feeling in another language. Thank you very much dear poet Savita Tyagi, along with my sincere thanks to all PH poets!

Each and every particle in this nature has its own quality. diamond under mine does not reflect because it is covered. it is not zest making to write poem. any one may write thousand pages in a day but can not pour the emotion. every skill has its own importance but poetry writing is a super skilled. Savita Ma'am has wonderful talent of composing poem with supreme thoughts and emotions. I find serenity and tranquility in her every write though it is tough to judge a poet.I only wish and pray for her long and sound life, naturally she'd create more and more wonderful and amazing poem. My regards for her is always in my heart. with due regards.

Savita Tyagi is poetess whose thinking reaches at the places that are long distant and path of the place is an stony one, but she never stopped her journey, she walked forward and she is still walking forward.

Best Poem of Savita Tyagi

A Poet's Heart

He had a poet's heart
When he melted with pain at the sight of a wounded bird
Like an ice cube melting in summer's heat
The helpless eyes of grieving bird's mate
Turned his heart's cries into verses of poetry
This famous story is an inspiration
For poets around the world

On rainy days a poet's imagination streams and floats
Like a little paper boat in gushing rainwater
It giggles and laughs with little children
Playing in rainwater
It captures the adventures of a raindrop
Falling in puddles of city streets
Floating through winding alleys
And ...

Haiku Twin (Fall)

In fall migration
Flying geese quack over head
Blue sky comes alive

Yellow butterflies
Upon white basil flowers
For last nectar drop.
