I was lost in numbness for years
I was running from pain
but then I became trapped in the freezing darkness
where I was constantly numb
...

Just a fly on the wall
watching this small world go by
trapped in this house
it sees the door open
...

if I survive will I still be me
or will I be that empty body
the empty body I so fear of becoming
no one will be here to pull me rubble
...

I just lay here
battered and broken
used and abused
for I am just a rag doll
...

I ask you one thing
as you my read poems
or any others
open your mind
...

I am emo
and emo is me
I choose darkness over light
for that is just what I like
...

they ask me
what will you do when you meet him?
I say
I don't care anything will be fine
...

everyone fears the monster under their bed
I fear the monster in my bed
I fear me
for I am the one that continues on in pain
...

I stay up all night crying
just crying sand shaking
I’ve done so for the last four years
I wonder how many tears I’ve cried
...

why am I never enough?
why is it that anything I do is never right?
