Biography of Shane Clift
I am 30 years old married with two beautiful children. I write from the heart and I use influences. I wrote in high school and quit for a long time. Started up again with a friends inspiration. The moment called for it and I just kept up with it. I find it very theraputic.

Shane Clift Poems
A Friend To You
Here is a hug from me to you A kiss on the cheek to help the sun shine through A smile for your eyes so only sweet thoughts go through your mind A laugh for your ears to help ease any fear
A Mothers Love
When your skies are dark and no one seems to care A mothers love is always there She eases the pain and fixes the hurt She laughs and cries always with adoring eyes
I Wish You Enough
I wish you strength I wish you love I wish you blessings from above I wish you hope
Would You Miss Me
I am sad and don't really know why. Did Juliet know what she was doing when she died? Was it love or did she hurt so much she wanted to go above? Would you miss me if I left? Would you know I was gone? Would you care if I dared?
Angel At Your Back
For Cena Rose (had you in mind when this came to me) Reaching out to touch someone. A heart I must mend to heal my own.
I Need You And You Are Not Here
I need you but you are not here. The world is crashing around me and I am filled with fear. I lost my faith but I held on tight. It has been ripped from my hands.
In A Dream
I cried last night, you didn't know. You haven't a clue how close I am to letting go. I have tried all I could, done everything I should. Somethings still missing, yet you don't seem to see how near you are to losing me.
Here let me let you in on a little secret you might wan to know. You caught me off guard adn now I see you with a glow. Can you see the fire in my eyes? You are always on my mind.
Drip dropp cling clang Do you hear the water drain? Up from the lakes down from the clouds, hail, snow and rain. Listen to the water drain.
Dont Forget To Remember Me
(For Nick) You forgot about me You forget that I am home
What About Me
My friends and the ones around me are here but they do not see. I give and give. I worry and I care. I reach out but do not understand why no one is there. The world is selfish blind and simple.
It all seems perfect throughout the night. To have you close and hold you tight. Everything will be alright. What we do may be forbidden.
A Single Tear
A single tear drops from my eye.
The death of a child is on my mind.
A feeling so strong its impossible to ignore
A piece of a puzzle I am trying to restore.
A smile so sweet and a laugh so precious, no one could turn away.
Such little time and so much to say.
So many lives I know she touched.
Isn't it amazing someone so young and small could give so much.
